2023 has been an eventful year for Learning Everest, one that took us around the world and was full of many firsts. After spending our first few foundational years laying down the groundwork for our products and services, we put our business on the international stage to see how we are faring.

Here is Learning Everest’s 2023: Year in Review.
Milestone 1: Becoming a Certified Eligible Business by the Government of India’s Startup India Initiative
Our first milestone for the year was being awarded the Certificate of Eligible Business under the Government of India’s Startup India Program.
This certificate is awarded to startups that the Government deems scalable and innovative, generating jobs and revenue in foundational industries. This certificate was an extremely proud moment for the Learning Everest team, as it meant that an authoritative body saw value in our business and its endeavors. It was also a rare achievement, as in the past 7 years, only 1162 startups have been able to gain this certificate despite there being over 200,000 registered startups in the country.
As a certified eligible business under the Government of India, Learning Everest is now qualified for perks, benefits, and exemptions under the Startup India program.
This certificate was a big win this year, as it was solid proof of our integrity as a business.
Milestone 2: Winning the Brandon Hall Gold and Silver HCM Awards
Our next major achievement in 2023 was winning a Silver and a Gold Brandon Hall HCM award for our products.
The Brandon Hall HCM award is a well-renowned and prestigious industry award for L&D, talent development, and talent management.
It seeks to recognize L&D initiatives that add value to organizations and produce impactful and measurable business outcomes.
The Brandon Hall HCM Awards were the first industry awards Learning Everest ever applied to, making it a little special in our hearts.
We applied for two categories – “Future of Work” and “Learning and Development.” Being our first time applying, our team worked extra hard on the applications, checking and double-checking each detail to ensure we did our deliverables justice.
Our care and hard work paid off, as we ended up winning an award for both our applications. We won gold in the “Future of Work” category and Silver in the “Learning and Development” category.
The HCM awards were the first industry-level accolades we achieved, and it goes without saying that they were a welcome badge of approval for the quality of services we provide.
Milestone 3: Exhibiting at the G20 DIA Expo
Our next major milestone in 2023 was being invited as exhibitors to the G20 DIA Summit held in Bengaluru, India.
The G20 Summit is a yearly meet held by the G20 nations as an opportunity to improve diplomatic and trade relations among the member countries and exchange innovative ideas, technologies, products, and more. This year, India had the presidency of the G20 alliance, making it the host of the summit.
We at Learning Everest were stoked at being invited as exhibitors, as it was an excellent opportunity for us to gain exposure, collaborate, and network. Furthermore, the summit and expo were another first for our team, making it a valuable learning opportunity for us all.
The expo spanned over 3 days, and we set up a booth on all 3 days. Our aim was to demonstrate how Learning Everest leverages eLearning to improve businesses.
Our booth saw significant footfall due to its prominent location, and our visitors showed genuine interest and curiosity in the activities and resources we had set up for them.
We also had the honor of attending an address by Mr. Ashwini Vaishnaw, GOI’s Minister of Railway and Electronics and Information & Technology.
Milestone 4: Celebrating our 3rd Foundation Day
While the year was full of firsts, Learning Everest turned 3 in 2023. We celebrated our 3rd Foundation Day in August, which was a day filled with laughter and enjoyment.
We started the celebration with a lamp-lighting ceremony to make sure we didn’t miss out on the good vibes. The rest of the day was filled with fun activities, meaningful conversations, and a lot of hope.
Each member reflected on their journey with Learning Everest, played tons of games, joked around, and showed off their talents with performances.
While still a young company, Learning Everest has had an amazing 3 years, full of momentum and growth. Since being founded, we have already worked with 80+ clients from 25+ industries, including some big industry names. Our clients have always been satisfied with our work, and we strive to perfect our offerings and meet each project’s demands to the fullest.
Milestone 5: Winning 2 LearnX Awards
Our second batch of award entries for the year were at the LearnX Awards, an award program geared at recognizing talent management and development projects that positively impact businesses.
At LearnX, we applied for two categories – “Best Certification Training (Industry Specific)” and “Best Game”.
For “Best Certification Training (Industry Specific),” we applied with a bundled eLearning certification program we built for one of our earliest clients. This bundle consisted of interactive multi-hour eLearning modules with gamified quizzes. This entry won the Diamond award.
Our 5S Game won a Gold award in the “Best Game” category. This game is one of our off-the-shelf operational excellence offerings, which teaches learners the 5S principles through a short interactive game.
Our entries were evaluated based on how well they aligned with their project context, overall impact, visual design and look and feel, and the projects’ ROI.
Milestone 6: Attending and Exhibiting at DevLearn
We closed the year with a bang by visiting and exhibiting at DevLearn, Las Vegas, the world’s biggest learning and technology conference.
DevLearn was our first overseas conference and Expo since our founding in 2020. It was a unique and exciting opportunity for us, to say the least.
Over 150+ exhibitors and 150+ speakers visited DevLearn, and thousands attended as visitors. DevLearn was a bustling hub of L&D, training, and talent management professionals, each passionate about their fields and enthusiastic about exchanging ideas.
We were exhilarated at having this opportunity to showcase our L&D offerings at an international stage of this level and saw a significant footfall at our booth. We participated in eye-opening dialogue with our target client base and gained a deeper understanding of their needs. DevLearn was also an excellent opportunity for us to build connections and network, and we were pleased with the interest visitors showed in collaborating with us.
We also got to meet and learn many new things from seasoned industry veterans at DevLearn. We made the most of the talks and workshops being hosted at the conference and came back with a wealth of new knowledge and inspiration that could propel our business forward.
Overall, DevLearn was a very special and enriching experience for Learning Everest.
