Their extensive experience and commitment to providing the highest quality products has made them one of the biggest players in the chocolate industry.
Our client is a B2B company, well-versed in supplying the finest cocoa products to chefs, artisans, chocolate product manufacturers, and vendors.
In their time in the industry, they have spread their roots to over 40 countries in the world and employ more than 13,000 employees in 60+ facilities. Their revenue in 2022 surpassed US$8 billion.
Our partnership with the client began when they approached us with the intention to strike a long-term collaboration to develop a large volume of eLearning courses for their organization-wide training initiatives.
Our team at Learning Everest had just the right skill set for tackling bundled eLearning projects given our rich experience with producing standardized eLearning batteries for other clients. Thus, we were up for this opportunity.
At present we have successfully completed multiple eLearning courses with this client and are in the process of designing and developing others. The next step in this partnership is to translate these courses into 5 different languages, which will also be handled by us.
The client wanted their in-house training program on the 5S methodology converted into an eLearning course. However, the in-person version of the training was accompanied by a hands-on facilitator-led activity to illustrate how the concept applies to the workplace. Thus, the client wished for a similar activity to accompany the eLearning course.
The facilitator-led version of the activity was carried out in several short stages to illustrate each of the principles and the client wished to retain this format and flow of things in the virtual activity, as well.
Learning Everest worked closely with the client to brainstorm and develop a virtual gamified version of the activity.
The game had 6 timed rounds but the timer had an intentional catch. The time provided for each round was nowhere close to how long it would realistically take someone to finish the task. This was done to ensure that the learners understand the importance of each principle and their contribution to a smoother workflow. After each round, the learner was introduced to one of the 5 principles of 5S and the next round’s task would evolve to demonstrate that principle.
In this way, the main activity kept evolving until it transformed from disorganized to organized.
The final product was a fast-paced and engaging game that is now delivered alongside the theory-based eLearning module to the client’s employees.
